ABOUT ME
Welcome to Flocking Awesome!
I'm a graphic artist and photographer, but my first obsession was animals. I've been told that from the time I could crawl, I was following the family dog and cats around for hours, just observing them and enjoying their company.
I got my first flock of chickens at age 13 and have worked as a vet tech and a volunteer dog and cat foster. Along with my fascination with non-human creatures comes a deep love for nature.
During my 35 years of life in northern California, I have witnessed so many devastating affects of human caused climate change. I hope to use this page to educate and to inspire people to practice self sufficiency and to abandon factory farming. Chickens and gardening are two fun and rewarding ways to do just that.
I aim to show people that every animal has a personality, emotions, and a "soul" in every sense of the word as far as we can understand it. Animal welfare and regenerative practices should and must take priority in our lives.
I also love creating chicken and garden themed art, so check out my shop for some fun shirts, mugs and more!
